When the paid term ends (1 year on the Pro plan, 3 years on the Scale plan), your subscription continues month to month at USD 117. That price stays fixed for life while you keep your subscription. It does not include a free upgrade to a future, more expensive plan.
If the subscription ends, benefits not yet delivered are no longer delivered and time-limited benefits end on that date.
How the trial, charges, cancellation and seats work.
On the day the Chivo team confirms your access, that is, the activation date. It lasts 14 days on the Starter plan, 1 month on the Pro plan and 3 months on the Scale plan, always counted from activation.
On the day your free trial ends, using the card you saved. On the Starter plan you are charged every month from then on. The Pro and Scale plans cover their full term, in one payment or in installments, and then continue month to month at USD 117. Before the first charge we send you a reminder by email.
It is your account’s status after you save your card and before the team confirms your access. While it shows that status, the trial does not run and nothing is charged. If the team cannot activate your account, we let you know and nothing is charged either.
You enter your card in a form served by Recurrente, our payment processor, embedded in our page. Recurrente verifies the card without charging anything. Chivo never stores your card number: we only keep an identifier, the last 4 digits, the brand and the expiry date.
Yes. On the Pro and Scale plans you can choose 1, 3 or 6 monthly installments with no surcharge: the total is the same. The first installment is charged when the trial ends and the rest every month, to the same card. For example, the Scale plan in 6 monthly installments of USD 526.50 (total USD 3,159). If you cancel the renewal, the installments of the period already started are still charged.
We notify you by email and retry the charge 1, 3, 5, and 7 days after each failed attempt: 5 attempts in total. Meanwhile you can update your card from your portal. If the last attempt also fails, the subscription ends.
You cancel from your account portal, and we confirm by email the date the cancellation takes effect.
The Pro plan has up to 10 accounts and the Scale plan up to 5. When you start buying one of those plans, we hold a seat for you for 30 minutes while you enter your card. The seat is yours once the card is saved; if the hold expires first, the seat is released. The Starter plan has no seat limit.
The receipts and tax documents issued by Recurrente appear in your portal when Recurrente makes them available. If you need a different document, write to info@hopperlabs.io and the team will evaluate your case.
